Position: Account Executive-II

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Account Executive-II is responsible for assessing customer needs and provide consultative sales solutions, as well as consistently selling at or above quota.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
  • The Account Executive-II reports directly to, and receives instructions and directions from, the Sales Manager.
  • The Account Executive-II has no direct reports.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
    The essential functions and basic duties of the Account Executive-II include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Successful completion of initial development program.
  • Follow the 7(seven) step selling process.
  • Generate new sales leads, including cold calls and potential clients/partners.
  • Book client appointments, organize proposals, and conduct demonstrations and presentations.
  • Close the sale of new VoIP and/or TDM telephone systems.
  • Contact existing customer base at least once every 4(four) months.
  • Maintain account information in TigerPaw and utilize and maintain “Opportunities” in TigerPaw daily.
  • Maintain client satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and post sale.
  • Work with service/operations/accounting departments to ensure all necessary information such as job packages are accurately and timely available for installation and billing forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of all Trans-West Network Solutions products, both voice and data.
  • Participate in all product training.
  • Complete all testing.
  • Represent TWNS in a professional manner.
  • Achieve or exceed pre-determined performance criteria of the following:
      • Proposals: To be equal to, or greater than, 3 times the minimum monthly quota for 90 day pipeline.
      • Cold calling
    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum two years outside sales or sales engineer experience in interconnect or computer software industries with measurable accomplishment or successful completion of TWNS Account Manager II Development Program, consistently reaching required measurements.
  • VoIP, Shoretel, Mitel, Inter-tel, Nortel, Cisco, Avaya, or Toshiba experience a plus.
  • Professional attitude and leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work with Windows based databases, programs and software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a conscientious attention to detail
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-task, high volume environment.
  • Have a successful track record of consistently surpassing sales goals.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Primarily sitting and/or driving.
  • Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Busy professional office environment.
  • No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions.

    COMPENSATION STRUCTURE:
  • 12-month ramp-up period. Ramp-up period paid with an annual base salary of $30,000-$50,000 plus commission quarterly, if applicable and when earned, based on standard commission schedule. Applicable commissions payable are those earned in excess of the salary received for the reconciled quarter.
        Example:
      • Salary paid in quarter: $7,500.00
      • Total commissions earned in same quarter: $10,000.00
      • Commissions payable for same quarter: $2,500.00
  • Upon completion of the 12-month ramp up, compensation structure is 100% commission with no base salary, with draw amount to be 80% of minimum bookings quota.
  • Auto allowance of $200.00 per month effective the first calendar month, following completion of the 90-Day Development Program.
